Here is another of our ‘away’ meals. This one was also vacuum packed in its marinade and frozen. It was garlicky and delightfully peppery and barbequed up perfectly. This was perfect meal after a day at the beach, super easy and quick to whip up. We had it with baked potatoes with lots of butter (a weakness of mine) and a spinach salad.
Garlic Pepper Steak
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
1kg round steak
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic and pepper. Score steak and rub with the olive oil mixture.
Place steak on the prepared grill. Cook 20 minutes, or to desired doneness, turning once.
